Bacon makes everything better. Really. This is a low-carb version of those gooey mozzarella sticks. These are really good dipped in homemade ranch. I make a double batch.
Bacon-Wrapped Mozzarella Sticks
- 8 string cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c almond flour
- 8 slices bacon
- Put cheese in freezer for at least an hour.
- Heat oven to 400.
- Line baking sheet with parchment.
- Dip each stickin egge, then roll in almond flour.
- Wrap with a slice of bacon and place on prepared sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes.
- Serve warm.
