Bacon-Wrapped Mozzarella Sticks

Bacon makes everything better. Really. This is a low-carb version of those gooey mozzarella sticks.  These are really good dipped in homemade ranch. I make a double batch.

Nutrition per portion

  • 8 string cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c almond flour
  • 8 slices bacon
  1. Put cheese in freezer for at least an hour.
  2. Heat oven to 400.
  3. Line baking sheet with parchment.
  4. Dip each stickin egge, then roll in almond flour.
  5. Wrap with a slice of bacon and place on prepared sheet.
  6. Bake 15 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
